Kali River Rafting Expedition

Duration: 04 Night 05 Days
Distance: 80 km
Prerequisite: Minimum 06 people needed
Best Season: February-June, Sept-December

Day 01:Dehli – Kathgodam – Lohaghat

Train journey from New Delhi to Kathgodam and then drive to Lohaghat by cab. Night halt at guesthouse.

Day 02: Lohaghat – Pancheshwar

Drive from Lohaghat to Pancheshwar for one hour. The rafting expedition starts from a gorge at Pancheshwar and would see a flurry of small and big rapids. Night halt at camp with evening tea and snack and hot dinner served later.

Day 03: Pancheshwar – Sonali Gaon

A challenging and fun filled day on river as we negotiate a few Cat III rapids. Night halt in camps at Sonali Gaon.

Day 04: Sonali Gaon – Pari Gaon

Today is the mother day of the Kali river expedition as we encounter the ‘Chuka’ the massive Cat IV rapid. A rafting delight for river lovers, the trip will see many more rapids that will pump your adrenaline very high. Night halt at Pari Gaon in camps with tea and dinner as usual.

Day 05:Pari Gaon – Boom - Kathgodam

Stay on river and enjoy wildlife and forest where we finally arrive at Boom and call it a day. The great trip is over. Dive to Kathgodam in the evening and retire into a guesthouse.

NOTES

This expedition requires a minimum of 6 committed rafters.
Previous rafting and kayaking experience is expected
Best months for rafting are February, March, April, May, June, Mid September, October, November.

What should I bring with me?
